Join me at the Colorado Springs Shrine Club for breakfast, a silent auction, and a chance to hear from three notable Colorado authors.
The keynote speaker for this event will be New York Times bestselling author Eleanor Brown (The Weird Sisters, The Light of Paris) followed by Elizabeth L. Fox (We Are Going To Be Lucky: A World War II Love Story in Letters) and finally, yours truly (Touring Colorado Hot Springs 2nd and 3rd, Hiking Waterfalls in Colorado, Climbing Colorado’s Mountains) talking about my experiences researching and writing guidebooks.
Hosted by the Colorado Springs branch of the American Association of University Women, tickets to the event are $40* in advance and may be purchased online at Eventbrite, or by check made out to AAUW and mailed to Jean Little, 12602 Handles Peak Way, Peyton, CO 81831.
*Proceeds fund scholarships for Colorado women in their junior or senior year at UCCS (University of Colorado, Colorado Springs) or PPCC (Pikes Peak Community College). Applications are evaluated based on academic excellence, financial need, personal
statement, and letters of recommendation.
